Whoever tipped Sydney must have forgot that they lost to Gold Coast on this oval or cow paddock in 2018. Then again Melbourne’s start to the season has been the Melbourne of old do we remember when they were going to win the flag? Nathan Jones kicked 3 goals which is odd because after last week he career and life was over. For Sydney can’t wait to see how they make the 8 this season still. There is a rumour that Buddy Franklin might be at another club next year most likely Hawthorn because they are allergic to the draft. This would go down as one of the biggest fail trades of all time.

Collingwood 11.12.78 defeated Western Bulldogs 9.10.64

 

As a Fremantle fan don’t know what annoys me more the fact that Naughton signed a four-year deal and will not be coming home until then or the fact that Hayden Crozier took one of the marks of the year something we knew he could do before he was drafted but never seem to do it at Freo. Collingwood went from the team to beat to a team that could have got beaten their best of all-time midfield as struggled to fire and their backline still looks poor. At this stage though no one is actually good enough to win the flag.

Garry Ablett got caught out liking former GWS’s Israel Folau post that and I have no issue with religious freedom but in my eyes, Garry just told every kid who has a poster of him on his wall they are going to hell. But let’s talk about the footy GWS biggest problem in their eight seasons was they could never defeat teams near on the ladder away from home and now they did that and what an effort it was. Ward went down with a season ending injury but did not stop the Giants from winning at the Cattrey and I was there for an AFLW game and their supporters scared me couldn’t imagine how the 5 GWS supporters felt. I know the Giants get a lot of hate but they fell like a proper AFL team now unlike their older brother the Suns.

 

Essendon 17.10.112 defeated Brisbane 9.11.65

 

After the game on Saturday Brazzer lost thousands of members because seeing Tipungwuit destroy some pussies was the filthiest thing I have seen on the football filed. Essendon forgot that they were shocking in the first two rounds of the year and have been the highest scoring team for the last two weeks but 112 means it was not a high scoring round. Brisbane came crashing down to earth after a great 3-0 start and have to play Collingwood on the bright side they should win because don’t think Collingwood know how to get to Brisbane.

 

Port Adelaide 14.8.92 defeated by Richmond 15.9.99

 

 As much as I don’t like him as a player Tom Lynch won that game for the Tigers off his own boot making Suns fan wonder if you played with heart with us maybe we would not be were we are. Having a lack of a key forward hurt Port Adelaide because meaning the lack of tall forwards means Alex Rance was not lost. Port Adelaide looked like being the most disappointing team from South Australia this week.

North Melbourne 9.17.71 defeated Adelaide 8.11.59

 

Anything Port can do better Adelaide still suffering from the 2017 premiership loss got ran over in the second half by arguably the second worst team in the AFL at the moment behind Melbourne. In saying the North Melbourne kicked 17 mother ******* behind in a ******* stadium that ******* does not have any wind in it because it has a ******* roof for **** sake. My biggest pet hate in the AFL in a stadium with no wind how can you miss so many times. Also, Ben Brown got nominated for an Oscar but 17!!

 

West Coast 10.9.69 defeated Fremantle 7.14 56

 

Fremantle have won 1 derby without Matthew Pavlich and that was in 1999 Fremantle did not want to break that record. Very rarely do a team win 3 or the 4 quarters of footy but end up losing that match but one thing I know about going for Fremantle losing in weird ways is what they do best. David Mundy showed why he can play for 5 plus years and Hurn someone who people living in Victoria only knew about in 2015 will likely be the first Eagle to play 300 games.

Gold Coast 8.11.59 defeated Carlton 8.9.57

 

They did it again. They bloody did it again. The Suns could easily be 4-0 and on top of the ladder. We know they won’t win many more games after this but 3-1 start is a good kicking off point for the club. They knew they were going to win that why the stuffed up so much towards the end of the game to make is close.unfortunately for the Suns they have an angry Adelaide team away from home so their first 50-60-point loss is coming. Carlton boy oh boy another ok loss there is something just not right with Carlton but hey at least they have 16 flags

St Kilda 10.14.74 defeated Hawthorn 10.9.69

 

So it what we predicted all year a Gold Coast v St Kilda Grand Final an ugly win is still a win. Hawthorn once again shown that getting tom dick and harry from the trade period is not the way to make a premiership list. Take nothing away from the Saints I said they had the worst list in the AFL and would finish last so far I am wrong and good on them for proving me wrong.
