The Cat looked like Cats playing with a mouse before they finally put out of its misery. Adelaide kept on coming back but never looked like they were going to win. I am a massive fan of Walker but he still seems like he is sealing with the 2017 Grand Final loss. We should just give Geelong the flag now because apart from Brisbane but they are to young no one is good there is Geelong, Brisbane then 15 meh teams then Melbourne.

Melbourne 18.4.112 defeated Essendon by 20.10.130  

 

After losing to Geelong by 80 points last week Melbourne finally got their season back on track with a win over the also struggling bombers. That is what we thought would happen but Essendon had different plans. Now I do find is funny that Steven May left the Suns for a Flag but thought betting on the team who hasn’t won a flag in almost 60 years was a good idea. May also decided to blame his poor fitness on his former club Who are now 2-1

 

Saturday

Carlton 10.14.74 defeated by Sydney 14.9.93

 

Good to see the umpires are sticking with the new if you touch a player it’s a free kick rule that we love as much as a twilight Grand Final, well unless you’re Buddy then you can push all you want but when Jones looked at you. You get the free kick. Carlton had another close loss which means one day they will finally have a win. They have Gold Coast next week so there you go. In an interesting move by the AFL they took the country game from Essendon and Geelong and gave it to Sydney and Melbourne with this match actually being played in a cow paddock.

 

Greater Western Sydney 19.11.125 defeated Richmond 10.16.76

 

Isn’t it funny that Tom Lynch left Gold Coast to win a flag and his team is 1-2 where the Suns are 2-1 why would you bet on a team that has won one flag since 1981 is beyond me. Dusty decided to act like a scumbag when he did the snorting motion to a guy and maybe if Richmond won the game it would have been a better look for him. Jeremey Cameron kicked 7 goals and continuing being the most annoying player in the AFL because ever season he looks like he will kick 70-100 goals then fades away. GWS are the most frustrating team can play teams around them on the ladder at home but watch when the get smacked by Geelong next week.

 

Brisbane 16.11.107 defeated Port Adelaide 13.12.90

 

Both teams came in to this 2-0 not only that in a season that had the 2000, 1945 2018, 1978 Grand Final replays that 2004 Grand Final rematch was the one that stole the show. Brisbane got off to a hot start with the AFL world and now people besides Fremantle supporters know how good Lachie Neale is. Brisbane are now 3-0 was 2010 and they went on to win 4 more games for the season.

 

Collingwood 11.10.76 defeated by West Coast 15.8.98

 

A rematch from the 2007 Semi-final West Coast showed that you cannot right a team off after round 1 and cannot make a team premiership favourite after round 2. According to the media Andrew Gaff first game back after breaking someone’s jaw is a feel-good story. Despite that Gaff showed that West Coast premiership winning midfield was better than Collingwood GOAT midfield.

Western Bulldogs 9.14.68 defeated by Gold Coast 10.13.73

 

Gold Coast are now 2-1 they could have very easily been 3-0 as good as this might be for the Suns let’s not forget that they were 3-0 in 2016 and 2-1 this time last season as well before finishing second last. So, before you Sun fan lines up for final tickets let’s see how the next few weeks go. The Suns were not meant to win a game and had the worst list of all time said a lot about Fremantle and Bulldogs

 

Hawthorn 13.9.87 defeated North Melbourne 10.11.71

 

Hawthorn must have a love for 87 ever since their last JLT so they must love that number maybe it is the number of how many players on their list came from another club because Hawthorn are the club where loyalty came to die. Hawthorn like last year look good without looking great and now are looking at GWS John Patton something I called a few weeks ago. North played football for a few minutes then deciding it was to hard and went home. After almost making the finals last season they are in a battle with Melbourne for the spoon.

 

Fremantle 11.5.71 defeated St Kilda 9.12.66

 

It is Wrestlmaina season in the WWE and the last match on the card is the main event so given that logic Fremantle have main event three rounds of AFL so they should be congratulated. Fremantle showed that last week was no fluke and almost losing to St Kilda. Think Fremantle had more out on the fulls than goals. Jesse Hogan is yet to hit the score board for the Dockers witch is a worrying sign since Lachie Neale has won the Brownlow this year. I called St Kilda the worst list in the comp before round one I do sure feel dumb now.
